Plaza Surya is in the heart of New Delhi and is a 30-minute drive from
the international airport and close to Delhi's business centers
including Nehru Place, Trade Fair Grounds, Okhla and Noida. Nearby

attractions of the city. The hotel provides courtesy coaches to and from
the city centre (Connaught Place). Indira Gandhi International Airport
is about 20 KMs south-west of the city centre. Taxis are a cheap and
reliable way to travel into town. Fares are set and paid in advance.
Tickets should be purchased at the pre-paid taxi booth. For traveling
around the city the yellow and black cabs are fine, some with air
conditioning, some without. Hiring a car with a driver is advisable as
the traffic can be hazardous.

Rooms: The Elysee Hall is a destination in itself. Whether for
conventions, cocktail dinners, business or pleasure the Elysee offers a
world of elegance with wood-panelled walls, designer wall-to-wall
carpets and glass chandeliers. Vendome I is a banquet-come-conference
hall for small gatherings and is set in a traditional French style, with
rosewood lining the edges of satin-white walls, together with impressive
chandeliers and designer lamps that give it a distinct ambience. Vendome
II features dark, panelled walls and an ivory-white ceiling, rising in
steps and is dotted by designer square lights. An enchanting view of the

Sikandra: Sikandra offers the best of classical Indian cuisine in
traditional style, with live Indian music. The restaurant is famous for
the legendary North-West Frontier cuisine, with certain recipes dating
back to the time of the royal Mughals. Located at the Lower Lobby level.

Sampan: Exquisite Chinese artifacts and decor add to the ambience of
this splendid rooftop restaurant. The cosy and intimate restaurant
features Szechwan, Canton and Polynesian cuisine and splendid vintage
wines. The young at heart can dance the night away to the tunes of
'Black Slade'. Sampan is Delhi's premier Chinese restaurant and is
located on the 7th floor. Lunch 12:30 pm to 3:00 pm. Dinner - 8:00 pm to
1:00 am.
Le Café: Le Café is a day and night coffee shop, ideal for a
high-powered breakfast, business lunch or a quiet dinner. Choose from a
wide selection of Indian and Chinese cuisine, with American breakfast
available all day. Le Café offers 'The Sunday Brunch' which boasts 110
dishes to choose from and unlimited amounts of champagne. Situated at

Atrium Lounge Bar: The Surya features a new-look Atrium Lounge Bar,

French Crust: The French Crust is the ideal place to enjoy some of the
finest confectionery in Delhi and features a wide selection of freshly
baked breads including garlic, cheese, masala or even banana. Our chef's
freshly baked chocolate muffins are highly recommended. Located at the
Lobby level. Opens 9:00 am to 9:00 pm.
Mirage: Mirage's ambience is distinctly Egyptian and each wall has a
story to tell with painting and figures. The glass door, with
three-dimensional Egyptian ladies, welcomes you to another world. Gold-coloured
walls tell you stories of the riches of the forgotten kings. At the DJ
counter, two snakes stand poised to strike as if guarding an ancient
treasure. The curtains of gold make revelers feel that they are
celebrating with kings. The dance floor is surrounded with podiums to
ensure that people who want to be seen are visible while dancing. The
Mirage is the first club with a seven-colour laser light system that
rotates 360 degrees and creates hologram animations of graphic designs
in mid-air. The VIP lounge is a quieter area within the disco with
visibility into the club. There are also two karaoke lounges with
equipment for singing, partying or just hanging loose. Mirage is located
at the Lower Lobby level. Opens 10:00 pm onwards.
